About Me

Hello! My name is Jessie Vernon and this is my ninth year in education. I taught English Language Arts and inclusion for eight years and am so excited for my first year in special education! 

 

I went to Maryville College for two years and transferred to Tennessee Wesleyan College for my Bachelor's degree. I received my Masters Degree in Special Education from WGU in 2020. 

 

I have been married to my husband Derrick for almost 8 years and I have two children: Skielar and Emerald. My children are the light of my life! I also have two dogs: my black lab mix boy named Boo Bear, and my Basset/Aussiedoodle mix girl Parton! My hobbies include traveling, thrift shopping, camping, chilling in a hammock, listening to music, journaling, dancing, finding new coffee shops, and hanging out with family and friends.
