Hello! I am blessed to serve as a 3rd grade Math and Science teacher at MIS. I have taught at MIS since the 2007-2008 school year, teaching 3rd grade every year, except the first year, when I taught a 5th grade class.  I enjoy getting to share my love of Math and learning with my class.  It is my hope to instill in my students a love of Math and Science and a desire to always strive to do their best.

I grew up in Madisonville and have always lived in Monroe County.  I have been married to my husband over 25 years and I have raised 3 children in the Monroe County School System.  I earned my teaching degree later in life after working 20+ years in the business world, therefore, I can relate to the challenges parents face when trying to juggle both a busy work schedule and children in school. While working in the business world, I often found myself feeling torn between my work and my children. Please know I will do all possible to keep you informed about your child.
