is my 11th year and I graduated from cesky lemon went on a masters from Tennessee Tech I love my animals you can write on there I've got two dogs of Austin carrier of an Australian Shepherd we have six goats and chickens live on a farm so I'm outside a lot with my animals a little girl that 7 she's in the second grade and she loves to go to horse shows and she has a pony that shows my favorite thing would be spending time with my family traveling and I left my job I love to find what what is unique about you and using that talent to bring out what academically making you as successful as you can be okay now about me again the whole purpose of today's meeting is going to meet us try to find out something a little bout us and also find out what your expectations are with the virtual learning horse the third grade teacher I have been teaching Swift January 2008 and I work for a place called Nation stating it is now called CBS down in Bona where I work there for 22 years I was wanted to be a teacher just wasn't in a position to do it until I finally did so I worked in business for 22 years before I ever got my teaching degree from a different perspective than a lot I graduate with my bachelor's degree and at from Tusculum got my masters from Tennessee Tech I've been married for 29 years going to be 30 I have three great kids one of which is going to get married this coming May we my first one to get married and I love to read I love to go to the beach did not get to go this year I really missed you I don't like Kobe I don't like the time that were in but we will deal with it okay that's kind of what we're having I look forward to at this year again in any of the anticipated but we will get through it together I enjoy teaching if I didn't know enough went into it at the stage of life that I did and we're going to work together get threaded that I promise you okay for kids occupational therapy doctorate and I have a 16 year old boy that goes to Sequoia she does have three kids that go to Madisonville Middle School Miss Bowers is my daughter and Miss lingerfelt is also my daughter so I have two daughters over there at that teach there again you get to know all of them just to let our parents know there are are is there chances opportunities that you can get involved in school a lot of those are School Improvement planning parent-teacher organization just like you normally always have Advisory board if you are interested in doing anything here at the school contact the office and let him know that your interest and they will find something that fits and let you be a part of it I don't want the next talking about Harvard will learning expectations which is kind of the biggest thing or what you're here for yes I'm going to get them to give this to you here we go at the bar okay the first sign that this is really important to everybody needs to hear this every day attendance his text so everyday every one of you have to login at some point before 9:30 into the Edgenuity and you have to stay in your homeroom teacher and email and just say this is Sally days Monday September 2nd and you'll be counted as present for that day let me let me go ahead and ask this question has everyone has been online all the students you use clever last year you will get in to clever the same way that you did again you can get into it by going to our school website and where is that students run and reduces clever login you go to student and clever login it'll take you straight to the sign-in or you're clever account every most everything most everything is done through clear underneath I know I've been contact but some parents that have already take because you have to take a test this week and it is part of your clever do I have anybody that had trouble getting that okay if you do contact us we will try to get it worked out Daddy's where that the attendance is going to be taken through that same Edgenuity account there isn't play button that you can play it and you can send an email straight to and let me say this your homeroom teacher make sure you know who your homeroom teacher is because that's the way we will be checking you off when we are required I'll just going to answer you will be counted absent and you will have to have a doctor's know the parent. Just like if you were at school that's what we are okay so we are required are you crazy you have any questions on this let me say it again this PowerPoint he is on our individual teacher websites it's on both some with rounds and you can access those through our school website go up underwear steadfast 40 and look for our names and click on it it'll take you to her because she's going to tell you some more okay next thing on here that we have to cover is recommending to All Families to have a designated study area or work space that's just a recommendation structure space is just white pieces in area focus and be able to Banner with whatever they're working on leather recliner to give you guys just a quiet quiet work space where they can focus and do better on the so the platform is Edgenuity which they access through clever and that's where the majority of the learning experience will take place and other things that will be used would be I excel BrainPOP and some work boots what you get your science in your social studies BrainPOP we are putting things on our clever account like my clever page you will have videos for science assigned it will have worksheet we'll talk about it a little bit a little bit later kind of how to turn that in touch base on that everyday Miss lingerfelt and I'll have a planning time here at school while I refuse are down to special and so while our kids are gone check in on you to see if you need anything from that so that's from 2 to 3 if you need to ask questions. What's going on that day or trying to check in with you during that time and of course you know you can message us on dojo or whatever bit from 2 to 3 we are going to designate that time to see if anybody's you know asking questions wait we will check Class Dojo every day at that time we will check in on Edgenuity everyday if there's anything we are asking that I'm main communication between Class Dojo that email account is mostly just for the attendance so most everything will run through Class Dojo because he said I'm not going to say it always does this supposed to notify us when we have a message you know like any app it doesn't always do that kind of aggravating but Pacific time we will make sure that we check it just to see if we got any question and then we will get with you as soon as we can probably probably a little after 3 because that's when our yearly will try to get us ready you got anything else okay our next slide basically is this is a day Estes to share this this is suggested daily class schedule you don't have to if you're needing some kind of way of strut screen as parents and this is kind of overwhelming you can take it okay and again I heard like a sample one your daily check-ins between 8 and 9 we know it's got to be between before 9:30 you may sit down and self-help for the next hour we're going to work on the LA it's just a suggested schedule made out for you that kind of breaks the Dad gives you a break so that you don't try to sit down and do everything at one time the quickest way to burn out students will be if you try to do everything everything we give you in one day it's going to burn and not to mention you're not going to learn as much so they can slow and easy just like if you were still that makes people. there's a link to our school is the www. flash Monroe. That's where the edulastic will be also where they're taking that test to get to the County website which is has all the schools you can get in touch with people from central office whatever ww.w. Monroe. K12. TN. way we're going to stay at our ZIP I'm not sure how reading and language they're still there still we're having a meeting on this Friday Friday the kids are out of school we have in service and we are working on nothing but virtual learning on Friday we're doing Friday but will you ever receive the one from me and I can tell you that what he says in math you're supposed to take the edulastic assessment and have it done by September 2nd also gives you some codes and IXL to work on I think the students work tonight sell last year they should be familiar with it and all this one is doing is reviewing basic Edition we are Masters have been taking Tom addition test every day and that's what this is kind of taking the place to bet I also all students need to work for 30 minutes a day and their diagnostic Arena get a at just work on the diagnostic I have posted two videos on in my clever account go to the lender Fast Math and Science and watch the video and completely worksheet it's even even your book you're not going to want to bring your papers by here you know every day every way so what we have come up with is that basically you take a picture of your sheet completed and you send it to it you can stand it on flights when you finish an assignment you can take a picture of it and send it to me and then I can grade it from there a couple of the video that have worksheets on it do not have a printer to print it out then we may have to do a different maybe write the answer down piece of paper number one dancers this number to the answers that you know that and just make sure that we know assignment you are giving me the answers to Barbie just a big just printed out write the answers on the sheet take a picture of the Sandy but again I know that unless you catch one
