the wisest person I ever met in my life. 3rd grade dropout dropout in the same sentence is rather oxymoronic jumbo shrimp like fun run hey nothing fun about it Microsoft Works I used to say like country music no longer oxymoronic for me to say dropout white man but a man he challenged himself to be the best day of his wife what's the smartest ones in the third grade Dropout Daddy Henry Ford in a minute my mother said in the morning things with you you do not an act don't ever forget that I know you're tough but always remember to be kind always never embarrassed mama yeah next weapon listen from a cook over there to make sure you ego is the anesthesia if y'all might have a relative in mind you want to let me say it again ego is the anesthesia that deadens the pain of City Pride is the burden of a foolish person going into the cover do you want to make an impact tracking people Sun do it right what we've been told average criticism about being amperage but I want to tell you before you before all of these people not listening to those words but telling me every single day to be the best that I can be let me close Tesla I'm worried that you won't feel good, huh foreskin let me introduce you to someone I'm at the finest woman I've ever met in my life back in my day we to call there a brick house when was the finest woman I've ever seen the lady didn't like the Blind Side back with his dance I find out her name is Trina Williams Lompoc California and we were all dancing and we're just excited and I decide in the middle of dancing with her that I would ask her for a phone number you gave me a real telephone number the next day we walk to Baskin-Robbins ice cream parlor my friends couldn't believe it this has been 40 years ago and my friend still can't believe it we go on a second date and a third date we drive from Chico to Vallejo so that she can meet my parents my father my daddy my hero but anyway we go together for a year 2 years 3 years 4 years I'm so glad I graduated call your girlfriend in California cheap in the world we get married we have a few children our lives are great one-day Trina finds a lump in her left breast breast cancer 6 years after that diagnosis me and my two little boys walked up to Mommy's casket and for two years my heart didn't it wasn't for my faith in God I would be standing here today to go on was completely lost death what's rock bottom you know what you saying me the wisdom of a third-grade Dropout the wisdom of a simple hook I've never seen my dad cry this time I saw my dad cry his daughter Trina with his daughter not his daughter-in-law her for the last time on this Earth and my father share three words with me to change my life right here at the castle would be the last less than he would ever teach me he said Son just Dan you keep standing you keeps getting no matter how rough the sea you keep standing and I'm not talking about just water you keep standing after what and it's clearly as I'm talking to you today these were some of her last words to me she look me in the eye and she said it doesn't matter to me any longer how long I live what matters show me most is how I miss y'all one question a question that I was asked All My Life by a third-grade Dropout how you living how you live everyday ask yourself that question are you cook would suggest you live display but you would not judge that you would show up earlier that you'd be kind would you make sure that that's turban style it's you can use that if you're going to do something you do it the right way to do everything announcing yourself every how am I living
