Hi, everyone! I am blessed to begin my 7th year teaching in Monroe County Schools. I taught 5 years as a Reading Interventionist at Sequoyah High School and this is my second year here at MIS teaching Reading and Math Intervention classes.

As a child, my favorite subject was Reading.  I’m grateful that I now get to share my love for reading and learning, in general, with the students in my classroom. My goal as a teacher is to inspire my students to believe in themselves and to learn to communicate their needs.

Serving my community as a teacher enables me to have an impact on my students’ future lives. I strive to motivate my students to not only grow academically, but mature into a kind, productive member of our school and overall society. It is important to me that my students continue to grow post-secondarily and understand that they, too, will always make an impact in this world!
