Welcome to Ms. Settle’s 3rd Grade Tribe

I’m so excited to have found a home at Madisonville Intermediate School! Go Braves!

 

Experience:

I have a Bachelors in Education and a Masters as Reading Specialist. Certified PreK, K-6, and 6-8.
I have taught all grades from Kindergarten-8th grades, including exceptional learners, RTI, and PE

I am a proud mama to five beautiful babies. Two young men and three young ladies (ages 25 to 3 🤪).  Behind God, these babies are my world! 
Fun fact: I used to be a bodybuilder & personal trainer. 
I love to sing, act, paint, write poetry, &

previously coached athletics.   

Students have ample time throughout the day to complete class work. However, if they chose not to complete it in class, they will have to take it home in their Take-Home folder as homework.
I also assign online assignments that they may complete at home if they have access (not required to be completed at home).

* Prodigy 

 

**Students also have a take-home:

~ Spelling packet for each unit

~ Weekly Reading Log that needs to be completed and signed by a parent/guardian to receive credit. Students are expected to read at least 15min three nights a week and complete a brief summary on what they read.
